Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Do I need to be a professional artist to join the Creative Eagles’ Nest?
No. However, we do ask that you have an interest and are active in some way in a creative medium. It can be anything: music, painting, drawing, writing, etc.
Q: Is the Eagles’ Nest seminar a spiritual retreat?
No. The seminar is a prophetic activation week. You are expected to participate in all the activation exercises and workshops as they are designed to help you grow in prophecy and the other gifts of the Spirit, as well as facilitate encounters with the Lord that will deepen your intimacy with Him. You will be giving and receiving every day.
Q: Are the workshops optional?
No. We want to explore how God speaks in different creative domains. We ask that you attend all workshops, even if it is not your usual expression.
Q: Can I come for just a couple of days?
We prioritise giving space to participants who will be attending the full week. However, if you find your own accommodation in the village, you are welcome to join for a couple of days.
Q: Can I have my own room?
Highly unlikely, as accommodation on the YWAM base is limited, and is shared.
Q: I am vegetarian / vegan / don’t eat pork, etc.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate specific dietary requirements.
Q: Can I cook for myself?
Although the houses have fully-equipped kitchens, the Eagles’ Nest schedule is tight. Attending the classes and workshops will make it challenging to arrange time for cooking. However, if you need to prepare your own food because you have special dietary requirements, do get in touch with us via the email address above.
Q: Do I have to bring my own bedding?
No. Bedding and blankets are provided, but you will need to bring your own towel.
Q: Can you pick me up at the train station or airport?
We can arrange for pick-up and drop-off services for a fee, calculated according to distance. The most closest train stations are Alès, Nîmes Centre, and Nîmes Pont du Gard. Closest airports are Nîmes and Montpellier. If you fly into Marseille airport, please take the train from the airport train station to one of our pick-up locations.
Q: How can I pay for the Eagles’ Nest?
There are several ways to pay:
- You have to pay 40€ (or all the costs) by transfer or PayPal before your acceptance. The rest can be paid by cash upon arrival.
- It is also possible to do a bank transfer. However, please pay at least 1 week before the Eagles’ Nest, so we can check if you have paid or not.
- PayPal is also possible. However, because of the additional platform fees, please add 15€ more to your total payment, if you choose this payment method.
We will provide receipts and a short-term rental agreement to be signed in person.
Q: Can I pay in multiple instalments?
No. You should pay for the seminar and lodging upon arrival.
Q: Can I bring my child(ren)?
No. We have limited accommodation, which is reserved for full participants of the Eagles’ Nest. Participants are expected to be fully present for the entire Eagles’ Nest programme. We are also unable to provide any childcare.
Q: Can I bring my pet(s)?
No.
